Konark Sun Temple: it was constructed in 1255 century, and the temple is located in Konark (Odisha) India. The temple designed as a chariot with 24 wheels pulled by 7 horses. It is said that part of the temple structure collapsed or was destroyed in the 17th century. It is believed the collapsed structure had a 52 ton magnet at the top. People used to say that this magnet caused the main statue (Idol) to levitate in the air. King Narasimhadeva I, the great ruler of the Ganga dynasty had built this temple, Temple got 30 meter high chariot with immense wheels and horses, all carved from stone. The wheels of the temple are actually sundials, and precise time can be calculated by the shadows cast by the spokes.

Brihadeshwara Temple: Brihadeshwara Temple built in 1010 century is Lord Shiva temple located in Tanjore ( Tamil Nadu) India. It is one of the largest temples in India, approximately 130,000 tons of granite was used in its construction. The Kumbam is carved from a single granite rock, that weight approx 80 tons and it sits top of the temple tower. The Vimanam ( temple tower) is 66 meters (216 ft) high, it is great mystery how did workers around 1000 years ago manage to lift an 80 ton carved stone this much high without any cranes or lifting machine.

Veerabhadra Temple: Veerabhadra Temple constructed in 1530 century is located in Lepakshi in the Anantapur district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. The temple got 70 pillars supporting the roof, however the corner pillar in the hall does not rest on the ground and it is slightly levitate from the ground. In 1910 A British engineer tried to uncover the secret of the hanging pillar, He managed to make a corner of the pillar touch the ground. But this experiment of British engineer made the ceiling to misalign and distorted the Fresco paintings. What keeps this pillar hanging from the top still remains a mystery. There is the large footprint in stone in temple, this footprint is 3 feet long and a trickle of water flows into it from underground keeping it wet.

Padmanabhaswamy Temple: Padmanabhaswamy Temple located in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala India and there is no exact date of origin of this temple. It is the richest temple in the world, Temple got Gold and precious and unseen jewels worth approx 22 Billion USD, stored in temple’s underground vaults. Temple got total 8 vaults and only 5 vaults opened till date, Vault B is the temple is the most mysterious and remains unexplored. A chamber in the vault is sealed with an enormous iron door, this door has two massive cobras painted on it with no means of entry. It is claimed and believed that the door can only be opened by a mystic chant, it is also believed that opening this chamber any other way would bring great misfortune.

Kailasa Temple: Kailash or Kailasanatha temple is one of the largest rock-cut ancient Hindu temples located in Ellora, Maharashtra, India. Actual date of construction of the temple is unknown; however inscriptions on the walls can be traced to 8th century. The Temple is a megalith means carved out of a single rock. It could only have been constructed by the vertical excavation method, carvers started at the top of the rock and excavated downwards. The temple is the twice the area of the Parthenon in Greece and 50% taller, It has the largest cantilevered rock ceiling in the world.
